Carpentry for Ealing family houses
Ealing has a lot of Edwardian and Victorian family houses, with chimney breasts in the living rooms and bedrooms. Alcove cupboards with floating shelves, built-in bookcases and fitted wardrobes are the jobs I am asked for most here.
In the 1930s semis further out, towards Greenford and Hanger Lane, the work is often under stairs storage, wardrobes in the bedrooms and decorating.

Alongside the carpentry I decorate rooms and whole houses, paint the outside, and deal with the list of small jobs: sticking doors, window repairs, new skirting, shelves and curtain poles.
