Fitted wardrobes made to measure in London
Built-in wardrobes that use every centimetre, from floor to ceiling and wall to wall, plus under stairs cupboards and storage for awkward spaces under eaves and sloping ceilings.

What is included
- Full-height fitted wardrobes, wall to wall
- Alcove wardrobes either side of a chimney breast
- Wardrobes under sloping ceilings and in loft rooms
- Under stairs cupboards and pull-out storage
- Hanging rails, shelves, drawers and shoe storage inside
- Shaker, panelled or flat doors, painted in your colour
Why fitted rather than freestanding
A freestanding wardrobe leaves dead space above it and gaps at the sides, and rarely fits the alcove of a period bedroom. A fitted wardrobe goes up to the ceiling, is scribed to uneven walls and uses the full depth of the space, so you get far more storage in the same footprint.
Inside, the layout is up to you: double hanging, long hanging, shelves, drawers or a mix. I plan it around what you actually need to store.
Under stairs storage and awkward spaces
The space under the stairs is often wasted. Angled cupboard doors that follow the line of the staircase turn it into neat storage for coats, shoes and the vacuum cleaner. The same goes for the eaves in a loft conversion or a bedroom with a sloping ceiling.

What clients say
We are currently working with David on lots of home improvements: painting, built in wardrobes, cupboards and much more. He has been a complete delight to work with. He is a lovely gentleman who takes a real pride in his work and everything is possible! His attention to detail is amazing and he runs his business extremely well with regular updates on his process and costings for the project.
A few years ago I looked up Gumtree for a reliable skilled handyman. I came across David and saw photos of some of his work on the site. Ever since David has done various jobs of painting, decorating, building wardrobe, a summerhouse, etc for us. I always felt confident and reassured that he will do an excellent job and more importantly trusted him to come and go even when I was at work and felt assured all was in good hands and that is priceless.
We've been using David's services for the past three years, and he has been nothing short of exceptional. He's incredibly fast and efficient, and everything he's worked on has stood the test of time. David is always honest about what he can and can't do, which we truly appreciate. When I was pregnant, he even went above and beyond, working weekends to ensure everything was completed before the baby arrived.
David redecorated my house and did loads of little jobs like repairing and repainting my French windows and building some planters and removing a huge fitted wardrobe from second floor before I moved. No one else was interested in doing small, bitty jobs like these, so I was SO grateful to have him recommended by a friend. I live in Suffolk now and still haven't found anyone to replace his high quality workmanship, flexibility and attention to detail.
Fitted wardrobes: common questions
How long does it take to fit a wardrobe?
It depends on the size and the finish. I give you a realistic time when I quote, and once I start I work through until it is done.
Can you match the doors to the rest of the house?
Yes. I can make shaker or panelled doors to match existing joinery, and paint them in any colour, including the same paint as your walls or woodwork.
Can you remove an old fitted wardrobe?
Yes, and make good the walls, floor and skirting afterwards, ready for decorating or a new wardrobe.
