Preparation first
A paint job is only as good as the preparation. I fill cracks and holes, sand back flaking paint, repair damaged plaster and woodwork, and caulk the joints before the first coat goes on. That is what makes the finish last.
Floors and furniture are covered and the room is cleaned at the end of the day, so you can live in the house while the work goes on.
Exterior painting
London weather is hard on paintwork. For the outside of the house, I repair rotten woodwork, prepare render and masonry and use exterior paints made for the job, on walls, windows, doors, fascias and gates.
Decorating with carpentry
Because I am also a carpenter, the jobs that usually need two trades can be done by one: new skirting and architraves, panelling, a replaced door or a repaired window frame, all fitted and painted in the same job.

He arrives on time, assesses the work and gets on with it. I call him to do all my repairs and decorating whether indoors or outdoors. The one time I called someone else to do something for me, I had to call Dave to repair the botched job. He is so precise in what he does and very tidy afterwards.
David tiled our front porch, kitchen and bathroom to a high standard. He also painted several rooms and wooden floors giving a much needed upgrade to our flat. He is hardworking, friendly and offers great advice on maintaining your property. I highly recommend his services!

Do you supply the paint?
I can supply the paint or use the paint you have chosen. Tell me the brand and colour and I will work out how much is needed.
Can I stay at home while you decorate?
Yes. I work room by room where possible, protect floors and furniture and clean up every day.
